Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to and use of the Globe Report website, accounts, content, public interfaces, and related services.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Globe Report, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Globe Report on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
2. The service
Globe Report collects, organises, summarises, and presents reporting and related information from multiple sources. Features may include regional feeds, generated summaries, source links, search, data interfaces, and analytical tools. We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these terms. When creating an account, you must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and promptly tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
4. Information, not professional advice
Globe Report is provided for general information. It is not financial, investment, legal, medical, security, or other professional advice. News and market information can be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You should verify important information with original sources and qualified professionals before making decisions.
Nothing on Globe Report is an offer, recommendation, or solicitation to buy or sell a security or financial product. You remain responsible for your decisions and their consequences.
5. Automated and aggregated content
Some content may be collected, grouped, translated, classified, or summarised using automated systems. These systems can make mistakes or omit context. Headlines, summaries, classifications, locations, entities, and source counts should not be treated as independently verified facts. Where available, consult the linked publishers and original reports.
6. Permitted use
You may use Globe Report for lawful personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these terms. Any use of a public API or data interface must also respect its documented limits, attribution requirements, technical safeguards, and any additional terms presented with that interface.
7. Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- break the law, infringe another person’s rights, or use the service to cause harm;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data, or restricted areas;
- introduce malware, disrupt the service, evade security controls, or place unreasonable load on infrastructure;
- misrepresent Globe Report content, remove attribution, or imply our endorsement without permission;
- harvest personal information or use automated access in a way that ignores published instructions or materially interferes with the service;
- resell, republish, or build a competing content service from Globe Report at scale without written permission.
8. Intellectual property
Globe Report and its licensors retain their rights in the service, software, design, branding, databases, and original content. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service as permitted above; they do not transfer ownership.
Third-party articles, images, trademarks, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners. Links or references do not grant you rights to reuse third-party material.
9. Feedback
If you voluntarily send suggestions or feedback, you allow Globe Report to use them without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
10. Third-party services
The service links to publishers and other third parties that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, availability, security, products, or practices. Your dealings with them are governed by their own terms and policies.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a useful and reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or continued availability of any feature or content. We may perform maintenance, impose reasonable usage limits, or modify the service without liability where permitted by law.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Globe Report is provided “as is” and “as available”. We exclude implied warranties and conditions, including fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality, accuracy, and non-infringement, where they may lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that exception and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Globe Report will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings, or data arising from your use of—or inability to use—the service or reliance on its content.
14. Responsibility for misuse
If you use Globe Report on behalf of a business or organisation, that organisation will be responsible for reasonable losses, liabilities, and costs Globe Report incurs because of its unlawful use of the service or material breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, the service or others are at risk, or the law requires it. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law—survive termination.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, law, or risk. The revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
17. General terms
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written permission. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of operating or reorganising the service, provided this does not reduce mandatory consumer protections.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and any non-contractual disputes are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers may retain mandatory rights to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where they live.
