Build a stories request

GET /api/v1/stories/
A two-letter ISO country code.
Search matches whole words by default.
ISO format is recommended; DDMMYYYY is also accepted.
Use a short name or canonical type.event identifier.

No API key required. Filters supplied together use AND semantics. Results default to newest first; choose most sources for coverage ranking. Suppressed and non-current stories are excluded.

Response model

A story with useful context attached

Every result includes resolved country links, publication range, event classification, source and report counts, entities, keywords, and representative content.
