Former Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Mao Aplasca filed a counter-affidavit with the Department of Justice denying direct assault charges linked to an armed standoff at the Senate in May. Prosecutors gave the PNP-CIDG until Nov. 6 to file a reply-affidavit.
