The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 in Game 5 to clinch their first World Series title and end a 57-year championship drought. Milwaukee won the Series in five games behind strong pitching from Jacob Misiorowski and timely hitting, after advancing through the postseason by beating San Diego and sweeping the Dodgers in the National League Championship Series.
