North Korea fires around 10 ballistic missiles toward sea off east coast, Seoul says
South Korea’s military said North Korea fired around 10 ballistic missiles toward the sea off its east coast on Thursday, with the launches originating near Wonsan and flying about 250 km. Seoul said it was strengthening surveillance and coordinating with the United States and Japan, while Japan’s defence ministry said the missiles did not appear to land within Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
