Kaja Kallas says Putin’s return to the G20 could normalize Russia’s war crimes in Ukraine

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said a return by Vladimir Putin to the G20 would risk normalizing Russia’s war crimes in Ukraine. She said Russia’s participation in international forums should not obscure its daily violations in Ukraine, and noted wider European discomfort over Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov’s presence at a G20 meeting.
