Liberia to Launch “Road to the UNSC Presidency” Initiative on United Nations Day

Liberia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, working with the Ministry of State for Presidential Affairs, plans to launch “Liberia’s Road to the UNSC Presidency” on Monday, October 26, 2026, during the country’s United Nations Day commemoration. The initiative is tied to Liberia’s 2026–2027 term as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council and is intended to support diplomacy, multilateral cooperation, peaceful conflict resolution, and global peace and security.
