Eni says Kronos gas field will produce 500 million cubic feet per day after $1.8 billion in infrastructure contracts

Eni says its Kronos gas field will produce 500 million cubic feet of gas per day after the company signed $1.8 billion worth of contracts to build the infrastructure needed to extract the Cypriot gas. Guido Brusco said the gas will be sent to Egypt for processing and liquefaction, with output expected to amount to about 40 LNG cargoes a year, most of which will be sold to Europe. Egypt would have a right to buy some volumes at market conditions.
