Belgium's Finance and Tax Agency Hit by Cyberattack, Online Tax Portal Taken Offline

Belgium’s Federal Public Service Finance says its digital services have been disrupted by a cyberattack, forcing the MyMinfin online tax portal and several other services offline as officials investigate and secure their systems. The agency said some upcoming tax filing deadlines will be extended, with new dates to be announced, and that there were so far no indications personal data had been breached, though the investigation is ongoing.
